PETTASTIC TERMS & CONDITIONS - UK
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 The parties to the contract are Pettastic (which is a trading name for the seller) referred to as “Pettastic”, “we” and “our” and the Buyer referred to as “the buyer” or “you” and identified on the order form. The “Agreement” reached between Pettastic and “the buyer” represents a legally binding Agreement.
1.2 Every effort will be made to ensure that the information contained within the Pettastic website is correct, is lawful and is kept up-to-date.
2. POSTAGE, PACKAGING & HANDLING
2.1 Pettastic values your custom, however small your purchase may be. The buyer is to select the correct postal cost at checkout, based on the zone in which their postal address falls into and the type of service they require. If the incorrect postage option is selected then items will be either dispatched at a slower postage service or your order maybe cancelled at our discretion. Silver Shipping Service UK (1-7 working days) from dispatch of your order, (this is our standard service)
Guarateed Shipping Service UK (1-3 working days) from dispatch of your order*
Gold Shipping Service Next working day delivery UK (max 20kg)*
We may at times offer FREE delivery to the UK. Please see our shipping page for a latest delivery offers if any.
*NOTE! Some areas of the UK, those postal codes that full into zone 2 & 3 (Islands, Northern Ireland & Scottish Highland addresses may take longer (guaranteed shipping 2-4 working days, gold shipping 1-3 working days).
Orders that exceed 2kg in weight will be charged at the Guaranteed shipping rate.

3. PRIVACY POLICY
3.1 Pettastic will at all times observe the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998. Any personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy. We will not sell or transfer any of your personal information; the information that we hold will be for our own use or any of our other associated companies. The type of information we may collect from you will include:-
Your name and address; your telephone number; your email address.
At times you may recieve email newsletters from PetTastic or our other companies, you have the right to unsubscibe to these newsletters at any time.
4: HANDLING & DELIVERY
Pettastic aims to provide a fast and friendly service.
4.1 If you have any special delivery instructions, please contact us by email before placing your order, as any special instructions will need to be agreed between us & you.
4.2 Items on the Website marked SPECIAL ORDER will normally be delivered within 28 days.
4.3 For all items marked in stock, We aim to dispatch all orders where a gold shipping has been selected and the order placed before 10:30am the same working day, orders placed after 10:30am will be dispatched the following working day. Orders placed where a guaranteed shipping service has been selected, we aim to dispatch these orders the same or next working day. Orders placed where a silver shipping service has been selected, we aim to dispatch these orders within 48 hours.
Next day delivery orders placed before 10:30am on a Friday will be delivered on the Monday, orders placed after 10:30am on a Friday will be delivered on the Tuesday.
If for any reason your order cannot be fulfilled, either due to items out of stock or problems that are out of our control, we will notify you as soon as possible with the expected delivery date. All orders are dispatched Mon - Fri only.
4.4 Silver Shipping Services, orders will generally be sent by Royal mail, either Standard or Recorded Delivery. Larger items (i.e. those weighing above 1.5 kg) will usually be sent by Parcel Post or by Courier. Delivery times are usually 1–7 working days depending on chosen service.
Next working day delivery- Orders must be placed by 10.30am for next day delivery (We are unable to guarantee next day delivery to some areas of the UK, such as Scottish highlands and islands and bfpo addresses. Please contact us for details).
We regard a working day as Mon-Fri, Therefore Saturday delivery cannot be guaranteed. We will make every effort to deliver your order within the times specified, but we are not liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.
4.5 You are responsible for providing accurate information when submitting your order - incorrect information may lead to your order being cancelled. You will also be responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred if an order is to be reshipped due to an error on your part in submitting shipping details.
4.6 It is the buyer’s responsibility for receiving an order and making any arrangements where necessary to sign for and take possession of this order – if you choose to have your order left on your property this is at your own risk. We cannot be held liable for orders left at your property at your request.
4.7 We may choose to reclaim full shipping costs, not just the standard postage and packing price, if an entire order is returned. You can ask for the items to be reshipped but another shipping charge will become payable.
4.8 If an order has not arrived within 10 working days, please contact us by email with your order Ref number.
5 DELIVERY TIMES
5.1 If you have any special delivery instructions, please contact us by email before placing your order, as any special instructions will need to be agreed between pettastic & yourself.
5.2 Items on the Website marked IN STOCK will normally be delivered within 1-7 working days of your order being placed and funds received being cleared for payment to Pettastic. (excluding january sales items see 10.1)
5.3 Items on the Website but NOT MARKED IN STOCK will normally be delivered within 28 days.
5.4 Items on the Website marked SPECIAL ORDER will normally be delivered within 28 days
6 RETURNS POLICY
6.1 The right to cancel will not apply when a product purchased from Pettastic has been especially ordered by Pettastic from another supplier for the Buyer on the Buyer’s instructions (special order) or where an item has been especially made up to the Buyer’s specification.
6.2 In the event that you wish to return an item, please contact us by email within 7 days of receipt of the item giving us the full details. We will then issue instructions for the Buyer to return the item. Items must be returned unused and complete within its original packaging to enable resale. upon receipt of the item(s) Pettastic will refund either the cost of the item in full or in part excluding P&P. We can not accept returns where Food or perishable items have been purchased
6.3 In the event that any item purchased from Pettastic fails to match our description of it on our Website we will be happy to offer you a refund in full including P&P
6.4 In the event that any item purchased from Pettastic has been found faulty or damaged in transit because of inadequate packaging by Pettastic please contact us by email within 48 hours of receipt of the item giving us the full details of the damage supported where possible by photographs. We will then give consideration to providing a full or partial replacement of the item.
6.5 In the event that any item purchased from Pettastic has been damaged in transit because of inadequate handling by the Deliverer please contact us by email within 48 hours of receipt of the item giving us the full details supported where possible by photographs. We will then contact the Deliverer on your behalf. In these circumstances we regret that we cannot offer a refund initially.
6.6 The Buyer will be responsible for the cost and the safe return of any item mentioned in Clause 6.2 above. All items returned must be received by Pettastic within 14 days of the date of their original delivery to the Buyer and must be returned to us in its original condition to enable resale.
6.7 Please quote the order number you have been given by Pettastic in ALL correspondence.
6.8 In the event that Pettastic is unable to supply your order within 28 days, Pettastic will notify you as soon as possible with the revised delivery date.
7. PAYMENT OPTIONS
.1 We accept credit / debit cards, PayPal account or Google checkout, Pay by card either online, email, post or over the phone
.2 We accept payment by cheque or postal order (uncrossed postal order prefered)
8 FORCE MAJEURE
8.1 Pettastic shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including earthquake, fire, flood, hurricane, storm or other natural disaster), terrorist activity, strike by mailing authority, Shipping agent, and/or Deliverer, and cessation by any supplier to supply Pettastic with the goods it markets
9. LAW AND JURISDICTION
9.1 This Agreement will be subject to English Law and any dispute will be held in an English court of law.
9.2 The Buyer’s Statutory Rights are unaffected.
10. JANUARY SALES ITEMS
10.1 Our sale will run from January 1st to January 31st 23:00hrs. Due to demand for some products included in the sale, we may not have these items in stock (although it may show in stock), we aim to delivery these items within 14-28 days
11. Discount Delivery terms
11.1 Offer only available to online orders, and only valid to addresses within Zone 1 (UK mainland)
11.2 Offer ends 23:55 30.01.10.
11.3 Offer only valid for orders to UK mainland (Our Zone 1 postal area's).
11.4 The discount will automatically be applied at the checkout.
